The latest version of XenServer now boasts some really incredible performance enhancements.
1. 99% of Network bandwidth reduction when combining XenServer and PVS Accelerator.
2. 25% faster boot times of provisioned machines
3. 93% less PVS server CPU load
If you are running Citrix XenApp or XenDesktop, with PVS on VMware VSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V - you should look at Citrix XenServer (Which is included for free with your XenApp and XenDesktop licenses) for some incredible performance boosts.
